Add Flavor with
a BBQ Smoker
Have you been looking for a way to add
flavor to your favorite recipes? If you have you may
want to consider buying a bbq smoker and smoking your
meat before you eat it. If you smoke meat long enough in
bbq smokers you will not need to cook them at all before
you eat them. The smoking process cooks and dehydrates
meat if left long enough in the bbq smokers. You may
want to just lightly smoke a bit of fish in a bbq smoker
or leave it in long enough to turn into jerky. Jerky can
be any type of meat or fish that has been smoked until
it is totally dry almost like leather.
You do not need much space for a bbq smoker. Some people
build a smoking shed but it is not necessary with
today’s bbq smokers. They are small container units that
so not require a special room or shed. They do require
venting up though if you do not want the smoke to linger
around. A chimney will do the trick to keep the venting
smoke away from the ground. Smoking some meat can take
several days and the smoker will need to remain smoking
all that time.
People that spend time hunting and fishing may find use
for a bbq smoker. They can use the bbq smokers to
preserve their catch in a way other than freezing or
canning. The smoked meat can be stored for a long time
if it is turned into jerky and completely dried. The
meat can be eaten dry or it can be boiled in the future
and used in other ways.
