Turkey Marinades: My Favorite!
Turkey is a mild flavored meat and can be
greatly enhanced by turkey marinades. The meat absorbs
flavors very well and a creative cook can produce turkey
with a difference by using turkey marinades. The added flavors can change
provide many different options for turkey recipes and a
whole bird roasted is not your only one. If you do an

to marinate your turkey either whole or in pieces. Some
will call for only marinating the meat and removing it

Turkey marinades are used before the meat is cooked. The
marinade is made and then the meat is left to soak in
it. Different turkey marinades will call for different
lengths of time that the meat is left to marinate. You
may want just a gentle flavor or you may want a strong
burst of spice and seasoning. The longer the meat is
soaked the more flavor it will take on. After the
required time is past the meat can be cooked and
prepared into a delicious meal. It can be served as an
entrée or cubed and used in salads of all types.

turkey marinades or buy them
commercially. You will find that ones created for turkey
often have a smoky flavor that suits this meat very
well. You will find recipes that cater to all tastes
from mild and smoky to hot and spicy. Be daring and try
a few! You may discover a whole new respect for turkey
and add it to your regular diet.
