World's Best Caesar Salad
There are caesar salads and there are
caesar salads, but this
salad recipe is
the best one I've ever made. The recipe makes enough for
several salads so I pour the extra into a large quart
canning jar and it will keep refrigerated for several
weeks.
In your food processor combine the
ingredients except the olive oil. It is then added
slowly after everything else has been beaten together.
Toss bite size pieces of romaine lettuce and sliced
fresh mushrooms with the dressing and garnish with
croutons.
3 eggs
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. worchestershire sauce
4 tbsp. lemon juice
pepper
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup parmesan
1/2 tsp. salt
dollop of anchovy paste if desired - I
do!
2 cup oil
