Cedar Plank Salmon Marinade

You'll love this mouth watering salmon marinade.

 

salmon steaks or filets

2 garlic cloves minced or chopped finely

2 tbsp. brown sugar

1/2 cup Japanese style mild soya sauce (Kinkkomen)

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 cup rye or bourbon

 

  1. Mix marinade ingredients together and pour over salmon.

  2. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours.

  3. Place salmon pieces on a cedar plank that has been soaking in water and put on top of barbeque grill on medium-low heat.

  4. Turn salmon once to cook second side. Brushing with extra marinade.

  5. Serve with rice or new potatoes and of course a salad.
